Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Micro-B web studio, our WhatsApp ordering channel, and any music production service we provide. By using our service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. About us

To complete before publishing: insert the registered legal entity name and registered business address. These are required for Meta Business Verification and must match your official records.

2. What the service does

Microbeat produces music for you. This can include generating song ideas, writing lyrics, composing instrumental backing, producing vocals, and delivering finished audio files. You can request work through our web studio or by messaging our WhatsApp business number.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information and material you give us — including any lyrics, names, pronunciations or references you want included.

3. Pricing

Prices are in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) and may change in future. There is no membership, no subscription and no recurring charge — you pay K22 for each song you ask us to create, and nothing is charged automatically.

Production of a song begins as soon as you have confirmed it, and the K22 is settled afterwards. If a payment is not settled we will follow up with you about it.

4. Payment

• Payment is by MTN Mobile Money. We do not publish a merchant number to send money to: you pay by approving a payment request that MTN Mobile Money sends to your own phone.
• We will never ask you to send money to a mobile money number on our behalf. Any message asking you to do so is not from us, and we are not responsible for payments made to a number that is not ours.
• Your song is queued for production as soon as you confirm it, and we match your payment against our own Mobile Money records.

5. Delivery

We aim to deliver requested work within the timeframe we tell you when we accept the request. Production time depends on the complexity of the work and the number of requests in progress. If we cannot meet an agreed timeframe, we will tell you as soon as we know.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

• Create content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that infringes anyone else's rights.
• Impersonate another real person, or imitate a living artist's voice or identity without authorisation.
• Upload or submit material you do not have the rights to use.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to our systems.
• Resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, and we may refuse a request that we reasonably believe would infringe someone else's rights.

7. Your content and your rights in the output

• What you give us. You keep ownership of the lyrics, ideas and material you provide. You grant us permission to use it to produce your requested work.
• What we deliver. When your payment for a piece of work is complete, you may use the delivered audio as agreed with us, including for personal and commercial release.
• Our tools. Our production methods, software, templates and studio systems remain our property.
• Responsibility. You are responsible for clearing any third-party rights in material you supply, and for obtaining any permissions needed before releasing the work.

8. Refunds

Because production work begins once you request it, membership fees and completed production are generally non-refundable. If a delivery fails through a fault on our side, contact us and we will make it right — by re-delivering the work or, where that is not possible, by refunding the affected amount.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, or due to failures of third-party services we depend on, such as WhatsApp, hosting, or mobile money networks.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Micro-B is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of opportunity arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service period. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Zambian law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
